Dowsing pendulums are excellent tools for enabling your intuition to answer questions, provide guidance or search for things.

This pretty glass pendulum is filled to the brim with moonstone chips, crushed moonstone and resin. It is pleasingly weighty and from the loop on the cap to the base, it measures 4cm (about 1½ inches). The chain, which is finished with a moonstone bead, and pendulum itself, measure around 21cm (just over 8 inches) in length.

Moonstone is said to be the “stone of women” and is believed to enhance femininity, gentleness, intuition, psychic ability and spiritual awareness. It is a calming stone which can help to soothe stress and unstable emotions. Placed on the solar plexus or heart chakra, it can bring forward old emotional issues which can then be resolved. Used for inner growth and strength, it is good for new beginnings, sparking inspiration, success and good fortune in love and business matters.

The chain has been attached to the pendulum with a lobster clasp and a small split ring. If desired, the chain could be removed and the pendulum strung on a cord or chain to wear around your neck, or even attached to a handbag or keyring. You should be aware though, that none of the metal elements in this item are jewellery grade and are not guaranteed hypoallergenic.

Although this pendulum is pretty substantial as it’s been stabilised with resin, do note the container itself is glass so please treat it with care. If dropped onto a hard surface it could crack and release tiny shards of glass.
