This pretty, longline necklace is made from a sterling silver belcher chain with bolt-ring fastening, semi-precious stones and a hand-cast resin ammonite fossil. It is designed to go over the head without using the fastening if you wish, and hang down below the bust. You could also loop it twice around your neck, to sit high, if you like. This chain measures 33 inches (84 cm).

The centrepiece is a chunky resin ammonite in shades of blue. The original was found by myself when fossil hunting on the Jurassic NE coast just north of Whitby. This lovely town was my home for around 10 years. Ammonites, belemnites, gryphaea and other fossils are commonly found on this stretch of coastline.

The blue-coloured ammonite is complemented by angelite, aqua aura quartz and lapis lazuli. These gemstones can enhance your communication skills and psychic abilities.
