This unique OOAK bracelet is made from drilled seaglass and sea-tumbled pebbles, semi-precious stones and sterling silver. It has a short sterling silver extender chain, finished with a gemstone bead, and measures from 7½ to 8¼ inches (19 to 21 cm) although the larger pieces of glass and beads will make its “real” length a little smaller.

The pieces of genuine seaglass and wave-washed pebbles were found on the same dog walk in my current hometown of Saltburn-By-The-Sea. The doggo is very patient whilst I’m beachcombing and litter-picking, bless him. Seaglass is regarded as a symbol of healing and renewal and, if you believe the mythology attached to the name “mermaid’s tears”, it is also a sign of enduring love. I have drilled the seaglass and pebbles and combined them with the following gemstones: aventurine, moss agate, roman glass, smoky quartz and tiger’s eye.

Roman glass connects us to the past and can bring the old and the new together.
