Aventurine – Heart Chakra

An “Artemis and The Mermaid” predecessor to my Salvage Squares.

This little open fronted solid wooden box frame is finished in a distressed white and green. It measures 8 x 8 x 3cm and includes some aventurine chips with a short summary of the gemstone’s qualities. A machine-stitched square sits atop a background print. These are complemented by a tiny green sea urchin, collected from a beach on the Isle of Mull where I used to live, and a wooden leaf. Just because.
