These pretty earrings are made from semi-precious stones, a couple of pieces of drilled seaglass and sterling silver. The drop below the earwire is 4cm (just over 1½ inches). The small pieces of naturally sea washed glass ensure these earrings weigh just 4.57g between them (average 2.79g each).

I found these little pieces of seaglass on the beach at Whitby, the Gothic town in North Yorkshire that was my home for around 10 years. The wonderful West Cliff beach stretching to Sandsend is a great place to look for seaglass and fossils. The green drilled seaglass in these earrings has been teamed with gemstone chips of emerald, aventurine, peridot, citrine and clear quartz.
