This beautiful necklace is made from semi-precious stones, a hand-cast resin sea urchin, some superior quality Czech glass rondelle beads and sterling silver. It is designed to sit around the collarbone to do justice to the unique contents of the piece. It has a sterling silver extender chain, finished with a gemstone bead, and measures from 16 to 18½ inches (40½ to 47 cm).
The centrepiece is a pretty resin sea urchin test. The original was found by myself when I lived on the Isle of Mull. After a very low tide, I discovered many tiny green urchins on the shore of Loch Scridain. The white resin urchin has a slight shimmer and is complemented by the following gemstones: aragonite, clear quartz, freshwater pearls, white howlite, moonstone, morganite and pink opals.
These stones are associated with femininity, gentleness, intuition, compassion, peace of mind, purity and truth. These nurturing qualities can assist in calm communication and expression, helping you appreciate that past negative experiences can be a catalyst for a positive future. Acceptance and gratitude will lead to increased feelings of self-worth and confidence. Your strength, courage and endurance will come to the fore and you may feel stability if times are stressful. Pink is associated with the heart chakra and the love, desire and potential romance associated therein. This necklace contains a variety of polished, faceted and rough-cut stones to provide a pleasing mixture of textures.
This necklace comes in a gift box with the descriptive enclosure photographed which tells the new owner of this unique jewellery all about its qualities. A complementary polishing cloth is also included.
