This pretty, longline necklace is made from a sterling silver belcher chain with bolt-ring fastening, semi-precious stones and a hand-cast resin ammonite fossil. It is designed to go over the head without using the fastening if you wish, and hang down below the bust. Alternatively, you could loop it twice around your neck, to sit high, if you like. This chain measures 33 inches (84 cm).

The centrepiece is a chunky resin ammonite in bronze and antique gold tones. The original was found by myself when fossil hunting on the Jurassic NE coast just north of Whitby. This lovely town was my home for around 10 years. Ammonites, belemnites, gryphaea and other fossils are commonly found on this stretch of coastline.

The bronze-coloured ammonite is complemented by iron pyrites, smoky quartz and tiger’s eye beads. These gemstones can help release old, fermenting or stuck negativity like grief, anger and despair. They can penetrate dark areas of the mind and/or body and infuse them with love and light, dispelling fear, stress, anxiety and depression. They can provide grounding and protection and help the wearer to deal with difficult people. You’ll be able to better focus your mind, resolve problems, find purpose, willpower and courage.

This necklace comes in a gift box with the descriptive enclosure photographed which tells the new owner of this unique jewellery all about its qualities. A complementary polishing cloth is also included.
