This pretty multi-wrap hand-crocheted necklace was designed and created, by me, when I was trading as Artemis and The Mermaid. It is 2 meters in length (around 6½ feet) and, as such, can be worn as a double, triple or four strand necklace, a choker with a necklace, bracelet, anklet, belt or even a headband. It really is that versatile. Although the strand isn’t stretchy as such, the nature of crochet means it has a little “give” in it.

This necklace has been crocheted using best quality Beadsmith S-Lon in a pale purple (lavender) and contains a mix of glass and crystal beads and natural gemstones. The gems included in this strand are agate, amethyst, chalcedony, charoite, fluorite, freshwater pearls and moonstone.

These mostly-mauve stones correspond to the third eye and crown chakras, so can induce clarity of thought, spiritual awareness and peace of mind. Purple stones are associated with wisdom whilst rose quartz – pale pink – is known as “the love stone.”

The “Artemis” card attached lists the stones and you can use the other side to write a special message to the recipient if you wish. This long-line gemstone-studded strand will be supplied in white tissue in an organza gift bag.
